Description

Delicious lemon-flavored white chocolate squares that are perfect for a sweet treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups white chocolate chips (24 oz., recommended Nestle Toll House)
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon zest (plus additional to sprinkle on top)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk to a double boiler or a heat-proof bowl set over a small saucepan with simmering water over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until all of the chips have melted.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Spread evenly and sprinkle additional lemon zest over the top, if desired.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For best results, use good quality white chocolate chips for melting.
  • These squares can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
