Description
A hearty slow cooker beef stew that is perfect for cozy nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Beef Stew Meat (Chuck roast is a great substitute for added tenderness.)
- 4 medium Potatoes (Cubed; sweet potatoes can bring a delightful twist.)
- 0 cup Unsalted Butter (Feel free to use salted butter for an intensified flavor.)
- 4 cloves Garlic (Minced; increase for a stronger garlic flavor.)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce (Soy sauce can be a tasty alternative.)
- Salt (To taste.)
- Pepper (To taste.)
- Fresh Parsley (Add a pop of freshness and color.)
Instructions
- Place the beef stew meat and cubed potatoes in your slow cooker, tossing them together to ensure they’re evenly mixed.
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, cooking until it’s fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper into the melted garlic butter to create a flavorful blend.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef and potatoes in the slow cooker, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and practically falling apart.
- Garnish your dish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and an extra touch of flavor, then dig in and savor the cozy goodness!
