Description

A simple and delicious recipe for grilled garlic shrimp, perfect for summer barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp (deveined and peeled)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • to taste pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  6. In a saucepan, melt the butter with minced garlic and drizzle it over the cooked skewers before serving.
