This Spicy Tuna Grilled Cheese is a simple yet delicious twist on a classic sandwich!
Ingredients

- 1 can (5 oz) high-quality tuna packed in olive oil
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 tbsp spicy mustard
- 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar or pepper jack cheese
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 tbsp butter for toasting
- Optional: Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the canned tuna, mayonnaise, spicy mustard, Sriracha sauce, and optional herbs. Mix until creamy.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread and place them butter-side down in the skillet until golden brown.
- Flip the toasted bread and spread a generous layer of the tuna filling on one slice. Top with shredded cheese and cover with another slice of bread.
- Grill the sandwich on medium heat until the cheese melts, flipping once—about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot by slicing diagonally and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your spice preference.
