A delicious recipe for Cheesy Garlic Hawaiian Rolls that’s perfect for parties or as a side dish.

- 1 package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded or thinly sliced cheese (e.g., sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Cut the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on each half.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Replace the tops back on the rolls and wrap them in aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and rolls are warmed through.
- Remove from oven, unwrap, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, let the garlic butter mixture sit for 30 minutes before using.
- Feel free to add more cheese or different types of cheese according to your preference.
