A creamy and delicious chocolate frosty perfect for warm days!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups milk (or chocolate milk)
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (Omit if using chocolate milk)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (Omit if using chocolate milk)
- 1/2 cup sweetener or sugar (Adjust to suit your taste)
- 4 oz whipped cream or cool whip (This is about 2 cups)
Instructions
- In a large mixing pitcher or bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and granulated sugar to break up any clumps.
- Pour in the milk and chocolate syrup, then whisk until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the Frosty mixture into your Ninja Slushi or preferred ice cream maker and process according to the machine’s instructions until thick and creamy.
- Allow the machine to process. Let the machine run for 15-45 minutes, depending on the sugar content and temperature of the liquid. Mine took 20 minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, place a cup under the self-serve spout and pull the handle to dispense the Frosty.
Notes
- Start with 1/2 cup of sweetener and add more if needed to adjust to your taste.
- Processing time may vary based on sugar content and temperature of ingredients.
