Tender and flavorful slow-cooked BBQ beef brisket, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 23 pounds Beef Brisket
  • 1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke Flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 18 ounces Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine dried thyme, paprika, black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground cumin.
  2. Rub the spice mix all over the beef brisket, ensuring it’s coated evenly. Set aside.
  3. Place 1 cup of water in your slow cooker.
  4. Position the spice-covered brisket in the water, pouring the liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over it.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
  6. Carefully remove the brisket from the slow cooker, skim off any fat, and shred the meat with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded brisket to the slow cooker, add the barbecue sauce, and stir gently.
  8. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
