Scale
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. In a bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  12. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
  • Feel free to substitute other fruits for a different flavor profile.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
