A fresh and zesty salsa made with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- ¼ of a red onion
- 2–3 cloves garlic (peeled)
- 28 ounces whole peeled tomatoes
- 6 ounces sliced pickled jalapeno (half of a 12 ounce can)
- 1 lime (juiced)
- ½ large bunch cilantro (if it’s a small bunch, use all of the leaves)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
- Process a few times until you have the desired consistency of salsa.
Notes
- This salsa can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Adjust the heat by using more or less jalapenos based on your preference.
