Description

A fresh and zesty salsa made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ of a red onion
  • 23 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 28 ounces whole peeled tomatoes
  • 6 ounces sliced pickled jalapeno (half of a 12 ounce can)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • ½ large bunch cilantro (if it’s a small bunch, use all of the leaves)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  2. Process a few times until you have the desired consistency of salsa.

Notes

  • This salsa can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Adjust the heat by using more or less jalapenos based on your preference.
