- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature or microwave for 10–15 seconds until soft.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.
- Warm the caramel sauce briefly and pour it over the cream cheese layer. Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with optional toppings like toffee bits or crushed nuts.
- Slice the apples and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Arrange apple slices around the dip and serve at room temperature.
