Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 cup cherry barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup coleslaw (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup pickles (sliced, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss to coat the chicken evenly with the seasoning.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the cherry barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Chop the grilled chicken into small pieces.
  8. Place a portion of the chicken on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  9. Top with coleslaw and pickles, then cover with the top half of the bun.
