- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 ounce package taco seasoning
- ¼ cup water
- 15 ounce can black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup chunky tomato salsa
- 12 ounce package tortilla chips
- 1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
- Salsa

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the beef and cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Drain the grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water.
- Cook, stirring regularly, until the water has evaporated, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the black beans and salsa.
- Cook, stirring regularly, until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the tortillas in an even layer to a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Spoon the ground beef mixture evenly over the tortilla chips.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
- Bake for about 12-14 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Serve topped with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.
